Roy Teague

Inspector Roy Teague brings a truly unique perspective to the paranormal. Following six years in the British Army, including operational tours in Northern Ireland and Bosnia, Roy has built a policing career spanning more than 26 years and remains a serving police officer today.

His career has taken him from frontline emergency response to specialist firearms operations, tactical command and protection duties, earning numerous commendations for bravery along the way. It’s a background built around evidence, observation, discipline and remaining calm when faced with the extraordinary.

Those same skills have driven Roy’s investigation into a very different world: UAPs, paranormal encounters and unexplained phenomena reported by fellow police officers. He has interviewed more than 250 serving and retired officers about experiences ranging from unexplained aerial sightings to extraordinary close encounters, giving those accustomed to reporting facts an opportunity to tell their stories without ridicule.

His research culminated in his book Close Encounters of the Police Kind, bringing together law enforcement investigation and first-hand testimony to explore what happens when those trained to observe the evidence encounter something they simply cannot explain.

Twinvestigate bring a distinctive energy to the world of paranormal investigation, combining a genuine fascination with the unexplained with a passion for getting out there and experiencing it for themselves.

From exploring reportedly haunted locations to investigating unexplained activity and putting paranormal theories to the test, the twins approach the unknown with curiosity, personality and an open mind.

Their investigations capture the excitement, uncertainty and occasional unexpected moments that make exploring the paranormal so fascinating.

The Occult Family

The Occult Family are a UK-based ghost-hunting family made up of JP Kenny, Kymmi Jeffery and their daughters, Snow and Pebble, sharing a passion for paranormal investigation, haunted history and the mysteries surrounding some truly unusual objects.

Alongside investigating the unexplained as a family, they have built a fascinating and growing collection of haunted and reportedly possessed objects, including Annie — known as the “UK’s most haunted doll.” Their collection has featured in exhibitions at Wincham Hall in Cheshire, giving visitors the opportunity to get up close with objects surrounded by extraordinary stories and reported activity.

The Paranormal Witnessers are a passionate UK-based paranormal investigation team dedicated to uncovering the mysteries of the unknown.

Known for their gripping live investigations, unexplained encounters and interactive livestreams, the team takes viewers on thrilling journeys inside some of the UK’s most haunted and historic locations, allowing audiences to experience every moment as it happens.

From eerie abandoned asylums to notoriously haunted houses, no location is too remote and no mystery is left unexplored.

We’re delighted to have The Paranormal Witnessers joining us in Chester as they continue their mission to discover what really goes bump in the night!

Tracey Lindon

Tracey Lindon is a paranormal investigator and researcher with a particular passion for Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP), audio analysis and understanding what may exist beyond the spoken word. Years of hands-on investigation have shaped an approach that goes much deeper than simply pressing record and listening for a voice.

Tracey explores the complexities of EVP through real audio examples, recording techniques, frequency shifts, correlation and meaning, as well as helping investigators better understand the technology they use. Her work also explores Resonance Theory and the idea that EVP can be a far more complex listening experience than a single unexplained word or phrase.

Her research is grounded in practical investigation; in one published case, Tracey documented an EVP captured at Dale House in Shropshire and the historical research that followed the recording. Spooky Isles

The Daily Detour Paranormal

Please welcome Scott Kaye, founder of The Daily Detour Paranormal.

Scott is a paranormal investigator, content creator and the driving force behind an independent project built around one simple idea: Expect the Unexpected.

Since launching The Daily Detour Paranormal in 2026, things have moved incredibly quickly, from investigations across the UK and collaborations with other teams to establishing a permanent base at The Old Vicarage in Wakefield.

Working as a one-man team, Scott approaches the paranormal with an open mind, focusing not just on potential evidence, but on the history, stories and experiences surrounding the locations he investigates.

At the heart of his approach is the belief that guests should always come first. Rather than simply watching a team investigate, Scott wants people to have the freedom to experiment, investigate for themselves and ultimately form their own conclusions.

That philosophy is now shaping the future of The Old Vicarage, with Scott working to create a genuine home for the paranormal community where teams, investigators and newcomers can collaborate, test different methods and contribute to the ongoing investigation of the building.

His journey was recognised in 2026 when he became a Golden Orb Awards finalist for Emerging Investigator at the Spirit & Spook Festival.

Driven by a fascination with the unexplained, Layton has dedicated his time to investigating reportedly haunted locations, uncovering the stories behind them and examining the evidence that might suggest something beyond our current understanding.

With a particular interest in EVP analysis and the authenticity of paranormal evidence, Layton takes a thoughtful approach to investigating, combining curiosity with patience and a willingness to question what is captured rather than jumping to conclusions.

For Layton, it’s not just about experiencing something unexplained. It’s about understanding the history, the people and the stories connected to each location, while keeping an open mind about what might really be happening.

With a background in electrical engineering and a career delivering complex projects across the finance, energy and defence sectors, Andy combines technical expertise, analytical thinking and real-world investigative experience to explore paranormal claims from a scientific perspective.

We’re delighted to have David joining us at The Paranormal Festival, where he’ll be taking our guests on a journey through Chester’s haunted history, sharing the stories behind the city we’ll be calling home for the festival and revealing just how much paranormal history surrounds us.

And if you want to explore even further, David also offers private guided tours around Chester, giving you the opportunity to discover its history, hidden corners and haunted tales for yourself.

The Haunted Artefacts Museum

Step inside the world of The Haunted Artefacts Museum, home to a fascinating collection of objects with dark histories, unexplained stories and reported paranormal activity.

Since announcing the museum, it has attracted huge attention, with over 200,000 views and interest from podcasts, events and media including ITV News and the Express & Star.

At the heart of their collection is the mysterious doll featured in their logo — an object they say has caused powerful reactions from visitors, paranormal investigators and even members of the clergy, with some suggesting she could become one of the UK’s most talked-about allegedly haunted dolls.

For The Paranormal Festival, the team will be bringing the doll securely cased and blessed, alongside a selection of other unusual artefacts from their growing collection.

They’ll also be taking to the stage to share the stories behind the museum, its artefacts and the unexplained experiences surrounding them.
